The Dodge Challenger has always been a classic for Muscle car lovers, bringing style that Americans look for, and plenty of power to suit any enthusiast’s needs. For the Challenger models released by Dodge in 2008, the SRT8 Model was the first Challenger released, having its debut 6 months to a year and a half earlier than what had been expected. Out of these 2008 Challenger SRT8 models, only 6,400 will be built. Shortly after 2008, 10,000 additional Challenger SRT8 vehicles will be available for Challenger enthusiasts.

The Interior of the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8  includes notable changes, such as: leather seats with added bolstering, stitched accents within upholstery, with matching-themed orange accent stripe,  four gauges, including a 180 mph speedometer in the center. An impressive add on to the SRT8 model is a RCD Reconfigurable Display. The Display provides enthusiasts with Performance measurements such as information on 0-60 times, quarter-mile times, and g-force measurements. The Display also includes the ability to view other driving statistical information about engine performance on the Electronic Vehicle Information Center. Another feature includes controls directly located on the steering wheel, allowing you to change audio settings for added convenience while driving. Also included with the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is a 13-speaker high performance audio system, including a 322-watt amplifier, a 200-watt sub woofer to bring out the lows in your listening enjoyment, and included SIRIUS Satellite Radio service providing you with your favorite music.


Engine For 2008 Challenger SRT8

The 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 will be available in Black, Silver and HEMI Competition Orange. All colors feature the same styled hood stripe, to give the SRT8 a sleek and impressive look. The SRT8 Model comes powered by a 6.1L HEMI V8, bringing out 425 horsepower, 420 lb.-ft. of torque, making the 2008 SRT8 Model a classic incorporation of Dodges past Charger Models. The 2008 Dodge SRT8 Challenger has more than enough power to suit a Charger enthusiast’s needs.
